Millennia Designs: Sand's End Griffins Tapestry Kit

This tapestry kit design is based on a vase design by William de Morgan from c.1890. The Latin inscription comes from Horace's Aeneid and reads Tu ne cede malis sed contra adentior ito “Do not yield to misfortunes but go boldly against them“. It is available in a choice of four colours background, Navy Blue, Burgundy Red, Bottle Green and Cream. It uses Appletons tapestry wool for a soft, traditional look.
