An urban scene taken from painting by the artist Lawrence Stephen Lowry (1887 - 1976). The original painting is dated 1927 and is now housed in the Castle Museum, Nottingham. The painting shows a small crowd watching the arrest of a man. Aptly this all takes place on Police Street.
